Nominated in 1986-87 for a tony award for best performance by a leading lady in the play "pygmalion" opposite peter o'toole nominated in 1981-82 for a tony award for outstanding performance by an actress in a play for "a taste of honey".

(1996) Amanda Plummer won a 48th Emmy Award in guest actress, drama series for Showtime's TV show The Outer Limits, the episode called A Stitch in Time she played a ill-fated professor named Dr. Theresa Given who want to change her past life.
