Occasional appearances on "Late Show with David Letterman" (1993) on CBS-TV. His most memorable performances were with Tony Randall, who accompanied him pretending to have had a taxi breakdown and therefore needing an emergency rehearsal hall. Mandy then brings down the house with "Swanee", "Mammy", etc.
Was not asked to reprise his Tony award winning role of 'Che' in the movie version of Evita (1996).
