So help me I love the 70's disaster films and this may be the best of the bunch. Good cast, great story idea. Just a guilty pleasure.
Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis:
All-star idiocy about a burning skyscraper. Purports to pay tribute to firemen but spends most of its time devising grisly ways for people to die. The pyrotechnics are gripping, but the movie is just another cold-blooded Hollywood "product." Oscar-winner for Cinematography, Editing and Song (``We May Never Love Like This Again''). Panavision.
