Mine: |
A very funny and extremely touching movie. The use of language is very smart. English/Mandarin each when appropriate. Ang Lee, the director is so good; imagime doing this, "The Ice Storm" and "Crouching Tiger ..." all so different. An now he is directing "The Hulk". Still I think that so far this is his best film.

Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: |
Gay Taiwanese-American Chao tries to fool his parents via a fake wedding, with unexpected complications. Top-notch comedy which knowingly and poignantly examines the meaning of cultural identity and child-parent relationships. Neatly scripted by Lee, Neil Peng, and James Schamus.
