Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: |
Once again, D'Artagnan (O'Donnell) and the Three Musketeers (Sutherland, Sheen, and Platt) meet for the first time, and cross swords with the lackeys of scheming Cardinal Richelieu. Really just ``Young Swords,'' but it's fast-paced and entertaining, with stars having fun; there's lots of action, handsome Austrian locations and attractive costumes. Curry's portrayal of Richelieu is broad, anachronistic--and absolutely delightful, the highlight of the film. Panavision.
