Enjoyable. Interesting look at politics as well as a partly inteligent romance. Reeve is a hoot as the pompus reporter.
Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis:
Keaton and Davis fall in love, unaware that they work as speechwriters for opposing political candidates in a tough Arizona senate race. Cheerful contemporary comedy, with amusing digs at politics and the news media. How well you tolerate the ups and downs of the script and its protracted climax will depend on your fondness for the two stars: Their engaging personalities carry the film.
