An interesting point of view. Denver does a good job as an everyman character. Burns "God" is quite well done.

God appears in person of Burns to summon Denver as his messenger, to tell the world that he's alive and well. Film eschews cheap jokes to build a credible story with warm performances and upbeat message. Followed by a pair of sequels.
