Really good thriller. Never get predicable. Kostner and Hackman are top notch.

Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: |
Taut melodramatic thriller about a murder and cover-up within the inner circles of the federal government. Young is tantalizingly sexy as the woman involved with both CIA liaison Costner and Secretary of Defense Hackman. Hard to tell at first that this is a remake of THE BIG CLOCK, but it is--except for a ludicrous (and totally unnecessary) ``twist'' ending. Script by Robert Garland, who also produced. Super 35.
