Albert Brooks makes really good, interesting and unusually movies. This is no exception. Here he even manages to make Meryl Streep watchable, no easy feat!
Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis:
Brooks dies in a car crash and finds himself in Judgment City, where Torn is assigned to defend his life before a tribunal... and where he falls in love with fellow candidate Streep, who's too good to be true. Imperfect, like all of Brooks' movies, but full of funny ideas and hard to dislike.
