The Whale Poster
Primary Location: First Saw:In Theatre Saw at/with: Suzy, Anne and Jack in Wallinford
Rating: R Year: 2022 Category: Drama
Director: Darren Aronofsky Time: 117 min. Writer: Samuel D. Hunter

Mine: So Fraser works really hard to make this character real and sympathetic, but the script and direction are working against him. The characters are all broken in one way or another. Sad and depressing to watch. Not sure if the Aronofsky and Hunter have a point to make here, but it they did I missed it. Sink's character is particularly a one note one.
Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: A reclusive, morbidly obese English teacher attempts to reconnect with his estranged teenage daughter.
