Kevin Kline does a really amazing job, as always. Judd is better than usual. The framing devise of having Cole Porter watch his own life is clumsy and adds nothing. The movie focuces exclusively on the relationship between Porter and his wife, given that small focus it is too long and drags from time to time. Still, it has good Cole Porter music and some good performances. SOme of the musical performances are fun and interesting, Sheryl Crow and Elvis Costello stand out.
