This is based on one of the greatest plays of all time. Strange how they felt they needed to change it so much, it was not a good idea. Still I enjoyed it. It is short and the actors all do a good job. But the rewrite looses much of the wit and does not add anything. A "stagier" adaptation would have been better. My guess is that the director/writer was afraid his direction skills were not up to a more faithful version. Still it has some chuckles.
