Reviews
Mine: Always intersting and certianly a cultural icon at this point. I have probably heard too much about this movie by the time I first saw it, but I am not sure I see what the big deal is. Some fine performances and beautifully filmed. It seems to ramble at times and I was confused a number of times. It is also very long.
Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: The aging patriarch of an organized crime dynasty transfers control of his clandestine empire to his reluctant son.

This movie is definately one of the greatest. Marlon Brando gives his best performance, which won an oscar, and Al Pacino shows why he is one of the best. I do say this movie can be confusing at times, but it is made up by wonderful performances and one of the best musical scores of all time. The cinematography is some of the best i've seen and the lighting is perfect throughout the movie.

Who the hell is this senior dickhead who gave the godfather 3 out of 5 it is one of, if not the greatest films ever made and what IQ must he have not to understand the plot i am 15 for christ sake. The film and camera work is excellent, the acting unsurpassable and the script and screen play enthralling. When looking back in hindsight nearly all of the main actors were unknowns (except from Brando) and all of them have gone onto make exceptional movie careers. I find it hard to belive anyone could not be captivated by this amazing experience of film that is unlikely to ever be bettered

You're an idiot. The Godfather is the second best movie ever made. It is second behind Godfather Part 2 of course. How could you say this wasn't a great movie. You're just stupid if you were confused by it. You can't be serious. This series is the best ever made. I can't believe someone of your nature would think otherwise. You are the biggest idiot.

1972's The Godfather Is My Favorite Crime Film, I Like The First Godfather Better Than 1974's The Godfather: Part II And The 1990'a The Godfather: Part III, Only The First Godfather Is One Of My Favorite Films Not The Second Godfather And The Third Godfather, I Like The First Godfather Because Of Francis Ford Coppola's Direction, Francis Ford Coppola And Mario Puzo's Screenplay, Gordon Willis Cinematography And Marlon Brando's Performance As Vito Corleone.
