Mine: |
First let me say, I was not a fan of these books, having only read about half of the first. The movie is enjoyable enough, but is way too long. So much time is given to setting the stage that by the time we get to the plot at had three quarters of the movie is gone. The whole seems mechanical and distant. A couple of good lines, and top notch special effects do help.
