OK, so it suffers because I first saw it on video, but still many people who's opinions I generally agree with think that this is a really good movie. I found it to be kind of dull and pointless. Maybe another viewing is in order.

Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: |
Slight but entertaining look at single life in L. A. from a guy's point of view. Main character is a comedian who broke up with his girlfriend six months earlier and hasn't yet gotten over her. Some pointed jabs at L. A. life distinguish this contemporary urban tale, a kind of hip update of AMERICAN GRAFFITI. Leading actor Favreau wrote the script; director Liman also photographed it.
