Goofy fun. Interesting view of the future. At time very funny.

Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: |
Ex-cop Stallone is sprung after 36 years of deep-freeze imprisonment for manslaughter when blond Snipes (his long-ago psycho nemesis) escapes from his own government-imposed hibernation; the joke is that the "San Angeles" of 2032 is a pacifistic society that nixes violence and profanity (and where every restaurant is a Taco Bell). Fast, surprisingly funny, bloodletter is still only marginally brainier than Sly's TANGO & CASH. Panavision
