Great premise, undone by very predictable plotting. Quaid is likable as the 50 father figure. The son is a brooding and difficult charater to like. Moves to slowly for a thriller.

WHAT? Were you asleep? GOD the whole thing is AWESOME! I love all the characters and so what if he's brooding, people do that in real life. I adored the plot and the twists, did not find them too predictable. My favorite part is the last scene in the ballfield and that beautiful song.
