Top notch thriller. The ending is a surprise that you shoudl so have gotten. Great performances by Wills and the kid. Almost better the second time you see it. DVD has some really good additional scenes.

Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: |
Exceptional thriller about a dedicated child psychologist who faces his greatest challenge in reaching and understanding a young boy who spends his life paralyzed by fear, because he lives in a world of ghosts. Young Osment is extraordinarily good; the film is sinous and creepy without being manipulative. Writer-director Shyamalan also has a cameo as a hospital intern.

This is another awesome film that just gets better each time it's viewed. I love this movie, it has such a surprising ending, I was crying for the whole last half hour! What a shocker. BRUCE IS KING.
