It was movies like this that made me thing that Emily Lloyd was going to be a big star. What ever happened to her! Great performance, in a kind of downer of a movie.
Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis:
A troubled teenage girl expresses herself by being sexually outrageous--without understanding what the consequences might be. Bittersweet film set in early 1950s England with a knockout performance by 16-year-old Lloyd. Strong directing debut for screenwriter Leland, who based his central character on Cynthia Payne, the young madam depicted in PERSONAL SERVICES, which he wrote.
