Fun. Nice performances all around. One of the better monster movies.
Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis:
Sharp, funny, and fast-paced, this is an effective updating of 1950s monster-movie themes. Bacon and Ward, amiable handymen, lead a misfit group in a desert valley battling against giant wormlike predators that burrow through the sand. Cast is good, the music appropriate, and special effects outstanding. A small winner all around. Followed by direct-to-video sequel TREMORS II: AFTERSHOCKS.
