Mine: This is the first not animated/kids movie that I remember seeing. I liked it a lot, but have not scene it since about 1972.
Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: Popular comedy about Russian submarine that lands off New England coast was incredibly overrated in 1966; now it's merely a TV sitcom saved by pretty photography and good comic bits by Arkin and Winters. Script by William Rose from Nathaniel Benchley's novel The Off-Islanders. Alan Arkin's starring film debut. Panavision.
