Some fun stuff, but not enough to make it worth while. Elwes is fun.

Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: |
Disappointingly mild Brooks parody with Elwes as the hero of Sherwood Forest, and Rees a hilarious Sheriff of Rottingham. (Brooks himself plays Rabbi Tuchman, a variation on Friar Tuck. ) Laughs come in fits and starts, but the film has no momentum, and no memorable set-pieces. Cameos by Brooks regulars help a bit; DeLuise is hilarious as The Godfather.
