A great thriller. Cast is top-notch, but it is the direction that is the star here. A great use of confined space. You feel the helplessness of Stewart. Great stuff.
Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis:

Inventive Cornell Woolrich story adapted by John Michael Hayes. Stewart, society girlfriend Kelly, and no-nonsense nurse Ritter make a wonderful trio.
