Very funny and very touching. A really unique story told with great warmth. George Burns give a deeply moving performance.

Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: |
Three retirees in Queens get more than they bargain for when they rob a bank in Manhattan to relieve their boredom. Unexpected gem from a 28-year-old filmmaker is predictably funny but unpredictably moving, with Burns standing out in a terrific cast.

I saw this movie in the theater as a kid twice. It was a very funny show, and good for the entire family. The actors portrayed their attempt at reviving their lives very well.
