Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis:
Second half of Lester's irreverent but amusing approach to Dumas with less emphasis on slapstick this time around. Rich cast in top form. Filmed in 1973, at the same time as THE THREE MUSKETEERS. Followed by THE RETURN OF THE MUSKETEERS.
