Off-the-wall pulp fiction by Earl Mac Rauch about a hero who's a neurosurgeon, physicist, rocket-car driver, rock singer, and government troubleshooter. Should be fun, but it's incoherent, like coming in at the second chapter of a Saturday matinee serial. Still, it has a fervent following. Aka BUCKAROO BANZAI. Panavision.
