Reviews
Mine: Very enjoyable. Great performances all around. DVD has some really god scenes that were cut from the final version. Minny is great as usual.
Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: Four working-class friends hang out together in South Boston, but one of them, pugnacious Will Hunting (Damon), has an unusual gift: he's a genius. When M. I. T. math professor SkarsgÄrd gets wind of this, he insists that the young man stop wasting his talents, and sends him to psychologist/teacher Williams to try to crack his brittle shell. Well-acted fiction written by costars Damon and Ben Affleck doesn't bear close scrutiny but certainly entertains, with an array of good performances. Oscar nods for Best Original Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor (Williams).
