Fun, entertaining, beautiful fantasy adventure. Matthew is really very good. The score is good, but mis-placed in this movie.

Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: |
Overlong but generally entertaining medieval fantasy adventure about star-crossed lovers caught in an evil spell--and a young thief who becomes their unlikely ally. Hauer and Pfeiffer are perfectly cast as stalwart hero and heroine, but Broderick's manner and dialogue seem better suited to a Woody Allen movie! Thunderous music by Andrew Powell. Technovision.
